The authorities occupy a critical role when it comes to legislation, financing and facilitation of innovation, etc. (for instance with the Zorgfonds (care funds), the KCE (Belgian Healthcare Knowledge Centre), the European Commission and the social services).
The public services occupy a central role in health policies at the different policy levels (international, European, federal, regional and municipal). Hict uses its expertise and experience to aid them.
