About Hict

Hict is an independent healthcare consultancy organisation within the Vixor.health group. We support healthcare stakeholders in improving access, quality, and affordability of care through strategy, innovation, process improvement, and policy expertise.

For our valorisation and creation of new services, we rely on innovation projects. Working closely with healthcare providers, industry, academic partners, policymakers, and patient organisations, Hict coordinates and contributes to national and European projects that accelerate the adoption of impactful healthcare innovations.

As Hict continues to expand its portfolio of European research and innovation projects, we are looking for an enthusiastic consultant to strengthen our team.

About the role

As a healthcare consultant, you combine two roles:

  • You will support the coordination and execution of European healthcare research and innovation projects funded through Horizon Europe, including the Innovative Health Initiative (IHI). In this role you will collaborate with international consortia composed of universities, hospitals, industry partners, SMEs, patient organisations and public authorities. Your main area of focus will be to the Horizon Europe and Innovative Health Initiative (IHI).
  • In addition, you will contribute as a healthcare consultant to healthcare strategy, operational excellence or value-based healthcare projects in close collaboration with the customer and other members of a project team.

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support the execution of Horizon Europe, IHI and other European collaborative projects.
  • Monitor project progress, deliverables, milestones, risks and reporting.
  • Organise consortium meetings, workshops and stakeholder engagement activities.
  • Coordinate communication with European project partners.
  • Contribute to project deliverables, reports, dissemination, and exploitation activities.
  • Translate research findings into practical recommendations for healthcare implementation and policy.
  • Support in healthcare consulting projects

Your Profile

We are looking for a proactive and collaborative professional who has:

  • A Master's degree or PhD in Health Sciences, Public Health, Health Economics, Health Policy, Biomedical Sciences or another relevant discipline.
  • Experience in European collaborative research and innovation projects, preferably funded through Horizon Europe, Horizon 2020, IHI, IMI, or similar programmes.
  • Professional experience in a healthcare-related sector, combined with experience in an advisory or management role (healthcare or consulting).
  • Strong project and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical, entrepreneurial and collaborative mindset.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Excellent written and spoken English, excellent knowledge of at least Dutch or French
  • The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within multidisciplinary international teams.

We would particularly value

  • Experience coordinating international research consortia.
  • Familiarity with stakeholder engagement involving clinicians, patients, policymakers, and industry.
  • Experience with digital health, medical technologies, diagnostics, pharmaceuticals or integrated care projects.
  • Knowledge of European healthcare ecosystems and innovation pathways.
  • Strong knowledge of Belgian healthcare.

Travel

This role involves regular interaction with international project partners. You are willing and able to travel occasionally for projects, consortium activities and stakeholder events.
