As part of a strategic partnership with Saint-Bernard Mental Health Campus, Hict assisted the organization in designing and deploying an HR (Human Resources) Dashboard. The project was structured around six areas defined in collaboration with the client:
As part of its ongoing efforts to improve human resources management, Saint-Bernard mental health campus aims to implement an HR Dashboard. This Dashboard will enable monthly monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs) to optimize human resources management and facilitate decision-making.
The project is also part of a broader transformation to align HR management practices with international standards (Canadian accreditation).
HR data was extracted and processed securely, then restructured for analysis. This process identified key trends and defined six indicators: employee overview, seniority, FTE, compensation, absenteeism, and overtime.
The Dashboard design was developed constructively in collaboration with the client. We chose Power BI as a basic development tool, integrating dynamic filters, interactive visualisations and multi-scale analysis levels. KPIs were clearly represented to facilitate strategic decision-making.
Training sessions were organised with the financial director to ensure mastery of the tool and smooth navigation between the different sections, with appropriate use of filters depending on the use case.
⇨ An overview of the composition of the workforce in FTEs, enabling Saint-Bernard to better manage its staff.
⇨ Optimisation of overtime tracking, enabling better staff management and rebalancing of workloads.
⇨ Monitoring of monthly changes in the average number of FTEs, as well as the cumulative average.
⇨ Target peaks in absenteeism, analyse the causes, and develop a strategy to optimise absence rates and adapt internal policies.
⇨ Monitoring of the distribution and monthly changes in the payroll, enabling recruitment policies to be adjusted and retirements to be anticipated.
⇨ A strategic overview of staff distribution and contractual discrepancies, facilitating the anticipation of departures, the optimisation of pay scales and pay equity.
The client particularly highlights the tool's ease of use and the strategic value it brings to HR management, finally making data actionable on a daily basis.
