This summer, Hict celebrated its 15th birthday, and it would be an understatement to say a lot of things have happened since the company was first conceived in 2004. Today, Hict has about 20 full-time employees, while maintaining a similar number of associate consultants and experts. These passionate professionals have allowed us to realise over 400 healthcare projects, both in Belgium and outside of it. In order to celebrate our 15 years of existence, we decided it was time for a new visual identity, along with a new website.

2019 has been an exciting year for us. We have focused on improving both our national and international coverage while continuing to grow our level of expertise and excellence.

In January, we left our ancestral home of Bruges and moved to Ghent, a more central location which allows us be more accessible and more flexible within the Belgian market. Our new offices are located in Meetdistrict, a vibrant co-working concept in the Ghelamco Arena, a perfect location for offices, meetings, conferences, and much more.

During the past decade and a half, we have become a well-established name within the Belgian healthcare market. Hict is now a go-to service provider for healthcare providers, the industry and governments. We have become a recognised service provider for both general hospitals and more specialised organisations such as psychiatric hospitals, in services ranging from strategy and process improvement to technological implementations and change management. Within the industry (pharma, medical devices, technological and construction-consortia, …) we are called upon for specialised expertise, while policymakers count on us for capacity planning, strategic care issues and more specific items such as cancer care.

The past couple of years our team has become more and more internationally oriented as well, with more colleagues working on international projects and international business development. This year we also broke new ground overseas, with new projects in the Middle-East.

Throughout the last 15 years many things have changed, however a lot of things have stayed the same. We remain exclusively focused on the healthcare sector, working on projects for healthcare providers, healthcare suppliers and public services. We constantly work to improve the collaboration within and between these markets in order to achieve our goal, which is to optimise healthcare.

Healthcare is an ever changing sector, where innovation plays an extremely important role. At Hict we are constantly evolving to meet these new requirements.

We have decided that it was time for our brand to evolve as well. Our new visual identity incorporates all our expertise, along with the experience we’ve gained over the past 15 years. It highlights our status as an innovating and constantly improving company, that will face any challenge and will always deliver the best results.
