In January 2021, Hict was among the first international companies to sign a Memorandum of Understanding with the Saudi Ministry of Investment (MISA). This MoU allowed Hict to open a privately owned regional headquarter for the Middle East in the city of Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Two months later, we can officially announce the opening of our Riyadh based office as new regional Headquarter for the Middle East. Hict has been active in the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) region for over twelve years, engaging in a multitude of projects for different clients. Our office in Riyadh will be an excellent staging ground for us to expand our horizons and bring our years of experience and our commitment to optimising healthcare to new markets and exciting projects.
In our pursuit of bringing the best possible service to our clients, we recruited local talents to spearhead both the projects and the business development for the region. Our local consultants will work closely together with our global team to provide the best of both worlds: a local and flexible approach to projects and business development combined with Hict’s proven healthcare methodologies and expertise.
Hict’s unique value proposition brings the blending of Western-European expertise with local consultants and staff to the Middle Eastern Healthcare Markets. Our goal is to participate in the ambitious healthcare transformation programs expressed in the Vision 2030 of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. We aim to achieve this using the deep international skills of a ‘boutique healthcare consulting firm' combined with the local translation and implementation by our growing Hict team in Riyadh.
At this very moment, Hict is partnering up with several Middle Eastern players in the healthcare market. The ambition is to further improve our connection with local partners and to further develop these partnerships. This will be facilitated through our Regional headquarters in Riyadh, in close collaboration with Hict’s Main headquarters in Belgium (Ghent).
